OUR TEAM

PO Association of Clinical Logopedists of Ukraine (ACLU) — This is a professional association of specialists who are dedicated to the development of clinical logopedist in Ukraine, improving the quality of logopedist care, and implementing international standards in practice.

The ACLU is comprised of experienced clinical logopedists, scientists, teachers, and practitioners from all over Ukraine. We are united by a common goal — to strengthen the industry, support professionals, and protect patients’ rights to quality logopedist care.

Each member of the ACLU Board of Directors plays an important role in the development of the direction they represent and provides strategic planning, professional support, and the introduction of innovations in clinical logopedist.

Founders of the Association

The public organization “Association of Clinical Logopedists of Ukraine” was created on the initiative of leading specialists in the field of logopedist, who realized the need to unite the professional community for the development of clinical logopedist in Ukraine. The founders of the ACLU are experienced practicing logopedists, scientists, teachers and experts who have many years of experience in the field of medical and educational rehabilitation of people with speech disorders.

United by common values, the founders of the organization set themselves the goal of improving the quality of logopedist care, implementing European standards in clinical practice, developing professional education, and protecting the rights of both specialists and patients. Their contribution laid a solid foundation for the formation of an active and responsible professional community of logopedists in Ukraine.

Zarytska Alla

Clinical logopedist, founder of the public organization “Association of Clinical Logopedists of Ukraine”. Education: Defectology Faculty of the M. Dragomanov Kyiv State University of Logopedist. Specialization: logopedist teacher, primary school teacher for children with severe speech disorders, logopedist of a preschool institution. Work experience in the specialty: more than 30 years. Worked in the city of Mykolaiv as a logopedist at preschools No. 2, No. 137; school for children with severe speech disorders; Center for Social Rehabilitation of Disabled Children “Nadiya”; methodologist at the educational and methodological center of the State Complex for Social Rehabilitation of Disabled Children; as well as a logopedist at the regional audiology office; neurological and stroke department of the city clinical hospital No. 4; consultant to the military commission on speech disorders in conscripts (stuttering); logopedist at the M. Sukhomlynsky Moscow State University and the University of Pylyp Orlyk; logopedist at the Realive rehabilitation center in Odessa. Has many years of experience in private logopedist practice and 5 years of work experience in Italy in institutions for the elderly with psychoneurological diseases accompanied by communication disorders. Currently works as a logopedist in the rehabilitation department of the KNP MMR “City Hospital N4” and at the Olga Litvinova Speech Correction Center “Sunflower”. Has the highest qualification category and the title of “Senior Teacher”. Sphere of professional interests: providing speech therapy assistance to children and adults with speech and communication disorders of various nosologies. Scientific and methodological work: development of author’s methods and visual methodological materials; providing consultations and supervision to fellow logopedists; development and conduct of scientific and experimental studies of aphasia in the acute and post-acute period of rehabilitation after a stroke; curator of the project of a collective professional study of the NGO AKLU on the problem of stuttering in military personnel with the consequences of acubarotrauma in the conditions of war in Ukraine. Author of scientific articles in professional publications on the indicated research topics, visual and methodological materials for working with adults with aphasia and stuttering.

Litvinova Olha

Education: Slavic State Pedagogical University.
Specialization: logopedist, oligophrenopedagog, teacher of special pedagogy.
Founder of the Speech Correction Center “SONYASHNYK”, member of the “Association of Clinical Logopedists of Ukraine”, member of the “Association of Logopedists of Ukraine”.
Professional experience: 22 years. Worked in Mykolaiv as a defectologist at the preschool educational institution No. 78; logopedist at the Center for Social Rehabilitation of Disabled Children “Nadiya”; logopedist at the Speech Correction Center “SONYASHNYK”;
teacher at the Department of logopedists of the M. Sukhomlynsky Moscow State University.
Professional interest: working with children of different ages

  • from the risk group for SMR and eating problems (impaired sucking, swallowing, biting, chewing, drinking).
  • with severe speech disorders: alalia, dysarthria, rhinolalia.
  • with comorbid disorders, accompanied by severe speech disorders.
  • with disorders of the communicative function of speech in ASD. Author of scientific articles in professional publications on the formation of communication skills in children with ASD; visual and methodological materials; adapted methods for working with children with speech and communication disorders.

Boiko Oksana

Clinical logopedist. Education: Institute of Correctional Pedagogy and Psychology of the National Polytechnic University named after M.P. Dragomanov. Specialization: logopedist, primary school teacher for children with severe speech disorders. Professional retraining “Clinical logopedist. logopedist assistance to patients with speech disorders and other mental functions”. Work experience in the specialty: 15 years. Worked as a logopedist in a preschool educational institution, in an IRC and in the neurological department of a hospital. Currently works as a TMM in the Cherkasy Regional Psychiatric Hospital; clinical logopedist of the online school “GOVORIKA”. Has many years of experience in private logopedist practice. Sphere of professional interests: providing logopedist assistance to children and adults with speech and communication disorders of various nosologies; development of visual methodological materials for working with patients with aphasia; studying the problem of stuttering in military personnel with the consequences of acubarotrauma in the conditions of the war in Ukraine.

Benko Olena

Education: Kherson State University. Specialization: logopedist, teacher of correctional pedagogy. Work experience in the specialty: 15 years. Worked in Mykolaiv as a logopedist-defectologist of preschool educational institutions No. 128 and No. 47, a logopedist of the regional children’s hospital; a logopedist of the neurosurgical department of the KNP MMR MLSHMD. Sphere of professional interests: correction/restoration of speech and communication in people of different ages with such disorders as: apraxia, alalia, dysarthria, delayed psycho-speech development, ASD, aphasia, anarthria, swallowing disorders (dysphagia). Has many years of experience in private logopedist practice. Author of methodological visual materials for working with children with ASD and adults with aphasia.
